Ibiza, a Paradise to be discovered

Ibiza, a Paradise to be discovered

Ibiza is a small island in the Mediterranean Sea belonging to the Balearic Islands, an island with more than 200 kilometres of beaches with crystalline waters to enjoy at any time, thanks to the warm temperature and more than three thousand hours of sun a year.

For many years Ibiza has been one of the most sought after tourist destinations, both nationally and internationally, and it is not by chance. This small Mediterranean island has the perfect combination of leisure and relaxation, offering a wide range of options for all types of visitors, looking for their own personal Ibiza: the Ibiza of luxury, hippies, parties and spirituality, the shameless and romantic Ibiza, that of friends and family.

In case you have any doubts, at Hotel Garbi we give you some reasons why Ibiza is a paradise that you must discover.

More than 52 Calas and Beaches

Ibiza’s 210 kilometres of coastline offers more than 52 beaches and calas (coves). Most of them have nothing to envy the paradisiacal sandy beaches of the Caribbean. Beaches of fine sand, rocks, cliffs, family friendly, quiet, with the best beach clubs and restaurants … as you see there is no lack of choice.

Eivissa, World Heritage

The old walled town of Dalt Vila, in the city of Ibiza, was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1999 for being one of the best preserved in the world. Lose yourself in its narrow streets, it’s like  going back in time as if by magic. Eat in one of the many restaurants, browse in its shops and craft stalls, have a drink in its characteristic bars or visit one of its museums.

Natural Parks

Ibiza also has several nature reserves that are part of the Natural Heritage. The marine barriers of Posidonia are strictly protected for the great role they play in our ecosystem.

As for the Natural Parks, Ibiza has two: Ses Salines and the Nature Reserve of Es Vedrà, Es Vedranell and the islets of the west. In the first, there is a very varied and rich ecosystem in which includes  the salt pans, the beaches, the dune system and species such as the peregrine falcon.

Hippie Culture

Ibiza is traditionally a land of freedom and a mixture of cultures dating back to the 70s. With the arrival of the first hippies on the island, it became an example of coexistence between the hippie culture, tourists who came from northern Europe and residents with much more conservative traditions.

The Best Partying in the World

As we have already mentioned, in addition to a perfect place for disconnection, Ibiza is undoubtedly the world capital of electronic music and has some of the best nightclubs in the world.

Mediterranean Cuisine

Ibizan cuisine is one of the most delicious in the Mediterranean. Being surrounded by the sea, the quality of the fish served in the hundreds of restaurants that fill Ibiza is enviable.

Mythical Sunsets

Enjoy the mythical Ibiza sunset from anywhere: on the sea, near beautiful islets, on beautiful bays … In Ibiza the colours of the sunset are admirable. You will never get tired of watching the sun go down as each and every one has a unique magic.

Formentera

How to forget Formentera, the other great Mediterranean paradise only half an hour by ferry. Famous for its pristine coves and turquoise waters it is the perfect destination for relaxation.

Keep one of your vacation days to escape and get to know its tiny villages, its steep cliffs overlooking the infinite, the most portrayed lighthouses and the beaches of Formentera. You’ll love it!
